Majid admires splendour of Islamic art in Istanbul
Shaikh Majid Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, yesterday toured historical sites in Istanbul, Turkey, the seat of the Ottoman Empire that lasted until 1923 AD.

Majid visited the Istanbul's Museum of Islamic Heritage, which was built in 1422 during the rule of Ottoman Emperor Mohammad Al Fateh.
The museum enshrines the headgear of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
While touring the other historical sites in Istanbul, Majid expressed his admiration of the splendour of Islamic art and architecture.
