Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, has issued a federal decree appointing 17 federal public prosecutors.
The new UAE public prosecutors were sworn in yesterday before Dr Hadef Bin Jua'an Al Daheri, Minister of Justice.
The minister welcomed the elite of the UAE law defenders to the justice system, saying the judiciary is hoping they will administer equitable justice, uphold the rule of law, clear all obstacles and take whatever measures are necessary to guarantee the rights of litigants and the delivery of good treatment to them.
He told them that the government had placed its trust in them. He hoped their esteemed duty would contribute to the delivery of the best services to UAE nationals and residents alike with ease and convenience.
