Dubai: The number of registered pupils from the seventh to the twelfth grade in both the Science and Arts streams at the homes section in the Dubai Educational Zone has reached 1,116 for the school year 2014-2015.

Mona Abdullah, Deputy Director of the Dubai Educational Zone, said that the registration process which started in July and continued until mid-August and statistics have shown that there are 834 male home students and 282 female home students.

She added that 644 pupils registered in the arts section for the 11th and 12th grades, while 28 pupils registered in the science section.

In the seventh grade, 24 male students and three female students registered, and 50 male students and 12 female students registered in the eighth grade.

In the ninth grade, 72 male students and 21 female students registered while in the tenth grade 195 male students and 66 female students registered.

In the science section of grade eleven, seven male students and three female students registered, while in the arts section 220 male students and 46 female students registered.

In the 12th grade science section 10 male students and eight female students registered as against 256 male students and 123 female students in the arts section.
