Abu Dhabi: The ministries, public institutions and schools will close on Thursday, December 1, and resume on Sunday, December 4, according to a circular issued on Thursday by Humaid Al Quttami, Minister of Education, Board Chairman of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources.

According to the circular, the Islamic New Hijri Year 1433 holiday has been moved to December 1, to be continued with the National Day holiday from December 2 -3

According to the circular, the Islamic New Hijri Year 1433 holiday has been moved to December 1, to be continued with the National Day holiday from December 2 to 3.
The private sector in the UAE will also get a fully paid holiday on Thursday, December 1, for the new Hijri year and a fully paid holiday on Saturday, December 3, for National Day.
The Central Bank, however, announced December 1, to be the National Day and the Hijri New Year holiday for banks operating in the UAE.
The Central Bank also requested to maintain the services of teller machines at all times during the holiday.
