Abu Dhabi: The second edition of the International Security National Resilience (ISNR 2010) Abu Dhabi, was inaugurated on Monday by Shaikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior minister.

At ISNR, the latest security-related technologies are being exhibited by specialised companies from around the world alongside a conference, where experts and high-ranking officials will share their expertise.

The three-day event is being hosted at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center.

The event provides a valuable opportunity for all governments of the region and other related sectors interested in security matters, to meet and exchange experience with the delegations and companies, in addition to reviewing the latest global systems and technologies in the field of security, safety and crime prevention, the minister said.

ISNR will focus on challenges faced by the governments and businesses in the region to maintain national security and relevant issues, including intelligence, threat evaluation, transport and ports security, terrorism combating, critical infrastructure protection, disasters and crisis management, emergency equipment and response, Major General Matar Salem Al Neyadi, head of the organising committee said.
