Dubai: Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, has issued Executive Council Resolution No 15 of 2014 approving the administrative organisational structure of Dubai Courts. The Director of Dubai Courts may issue all the regulations required to implement this resolution. This resolution is active from the date of issue and is to be published in the Official Gazette.

The resolution aims to assure the efficiency of Dubai Courts’ organisational structure by enabling the departments and divisions to carry out their obligations in a fashion that concurs with the strategic plan of Dubai Courts and according to the approved performance indicators.

Moreover, the structure considers efficiency of legal precedents, Emiratisation and implementation technology.

Architectural heritage

Additionally, the Crown Prince of Dubai has issued the Executive Council’s Resolution No (16) of 2014 approving the organisational structure of the Architectural Heritage Department of the General Support Sector at Dubai Municipality. The department is responsible for preserving architectural and cultural heritage by conducting surveys and supervising the restoration of historic sites such as forts, castles, schools, mosques, homes and markets.

Dubai Municipality’s Architectural Heritage Department also carries out campaigns among citizens and expatriates to increase awareness about preserving the UAE’s architectural heritage as an added value to Dubai’s tourist attractions.

The resolution is active from the date of issuance and is to be published in the Official Gazette.
