Abu Dhabi: Mohammad Ahmad Al Murr, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC) has strongly denounced false allegations against the UAE leadership by Mubarak Al Duwailah, former member of the Kuwaiti parliament.

Al Duwailah, who belongs to the Muslim Brotherhood in Kuwait, offended the UAE and its leadership as he was speaking in an interview with the official channel of the Kuwaiti Ummah Council (Parliament).

“By making these allegations, Al Duwilah has offended the UAE’s national leadership represented by General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the country’s national symbol who works faithfully and dedicatedly for the sake of the UAE people and their prosperity and glory,” said Al Murr.

He added that such allegations that are baseless and false clearly aim to to sow the seeds of strife between the GCC people, and come at a time when the GCC countries are witnessing more close cooperation to fulfill the interests of their peoples which was manifested in the recent Gulf Summit in the Qatari capital of Doha

Al Murr called on the Kuwaiti parliament to block those who want to  undermine the relations of brotherhood, solidarity and cooperation between the UAE and Kuwait.
