Abu Dhabi: The Egyptian Embassy in Abu Dhabi has lauded the initiative of His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to donate a wide range of rare original manuscripts, folders and rare books and encyclopedias, and maps whose titles are over 4,000 to the Egyptian Scientific Complex, which burned last year.

Egyptian ambassador lauds valuable gift of 4,000 manuscripts
Egyptian Ambassador to UAE Tamer Mansour said that Egyptians were pleased about the valuable gift announced by Shaikh Sultan immediately when he heard about the fire incident, which gutted the complex and its library. He added that the Ruler of Sharjah had ordered the reconstruction of the complex at his expense at a cost of 50 million Egyptian pounds (Dh300,302).
