Dubai: The Dubai Foundation for Women and Children joined the nation in celebrating the 43rd UAE National Day in a befitting manner with a host of Emirati cultural and traditional activities.

Afra Al Basti, Director-General of the Foundation, department managers and all staff and guests attended the ceremony, which started with the playing of the UAE national anthem.

Speaking on the occasion, Afra said that all Emiratis are filled with pride that they belong to this country under this leadership, which has managed to lead the UAE to the global forefront in many areas, particularly with regard to women, as society has become reliant on their important and effective role in achieving more, as well as with regard to children who have been provided with all legislation and regulations that will ensure the raising of the nation’s children in a safe environment with the best care.
