Dubai:  Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, has set up five executive council sectional committees to streamline government work in the emirate.

The committees include the Economic Development Committee, to be chaired by Shaikh Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman and CEO of Emirates Group. The committee will draw up and suggest economic policies and tackle issues related to industry, trade, financial market, free zones, special development areas and government investment.

Security

The second is the Security and Justice Committee, chaired by Lieutenant General Dahi Khalfan Tamim, Dubai Police Chief.

The third is the Social Development Committee, to be chaired by Major General Mohammad Ahmad Al Merri, Director of the Department of Residency and Foreigners' Affairs in Dubai.

The fourth is the Infrastructure Committee to be chaired by Saeed Mohammad Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, and the fifth, the Health and Safety Committee, to be chaired by Hussain Nasser Lootah, Director-General of Dubai Municipality.
