Ajman: "We work for the nation and the citizens to maintain the federation's structure built by our founding fathers and to reinforce the UAE's status in the forefront of developed nations," His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice- President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, said on Saturday.
Shaikh Mohammad was chairing a meeting of Cabinet ministers and heads of Ajman local departments in the presence of His Highness Shaikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, a WAM report said
He called on Cabinet members and heads of federal and local bodies to shoulder their responsibilities and discharge their duties faithfully to place the UAE among advanced countries.
Several issues on dev-elopment at federal and local levels, and ways to strengthen coordination between ministries, bodies, and local government departments were discussed.
The Vice-President underlined the need to hold these meetings.
