Dubai: Al Manara Municipality Centre on Wednesday was awarded for its excellence in customer service for 2012. It is the second consecutive year Al Manara Centre has received this honour.

The award is aimed at improving performance management and encouraging competition
Hussain Lootah, Director-General of Dubai Municipality, urged staff to find ways of doing work in innovative ways to improve efficiency and the evolution of services provided to the community.
The award is aimed at improving performance management and encouraging competition. It also aims to spread the application of concepts of excellence, creativity and quality in performance and the motivation of staff’s creativity and excellence.
The most important criteria considered for excellence are human resources, financial resources, operations, operational plan, partners, community groups, production and evaluation.
