Abu Dhabi: General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has issued a resolution restructuring the board of the General Authority of Al Ain Zoo and Aquarium.
The resolution, issued by Shaikh Mohammad in his capacity as Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council (ADEC), appointed Shaikh Sultan Bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority, as chairman of the Authority; Mughair Khamis Al Khaili, Director-General of Abu Dhabi Education Council, as deputy chairman; Majid Al Mansouri, Secretary General of the Environment Agency — Abu Dhabi, as managing director; and Dr Mattar Mohammad Al Nuaimi, Mubarak Hamad Al Muhairi, Razan Khalifa Al Mubarak and Abdul Nasser Ali Al Shamsi as members of the board.
The board will serve for a three-year term that could be renewed. The resolution will go into force from the date of issue and be published in the gazette.
In another resolution regarding the Governance Committee in Abu Dhabi, Shaikh Mohammad named Hamad Al Hur Al Suwaidi, Under-Secretary of Abu Dhabi Finance Department, as chairman of the committee.
Members include Dr Ahmad Mubarak Al Mazroui, Deputy Secretary General of the ADEC, Riyad Abdul Rahman Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority, Abdullah Ali Al Ahbabi, Assistant Secretary-General of the ADEC, Ali Rashid Al Kitbi, Assistant ADEC Secretary General for Public Administration, Rashid Bin Lahaj Al Mansouri, Director General of Abu Dhabi Systems and Information Centre (ADSIC), and Khalid Bin Shaiban Al Muhairi, Director of Business Support at the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court.
