Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi: Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad arrived here on Sunday afternoon on a two-day state visit to the UAE.
Ahmadinejad was received at the airport by President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Shaikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister.
Ahmadinejad will hold talks with Shaikh Khalifa on a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest.
They will also discuss bilateral relations and ways to develop them in different fields.
According to the Iranian news agency, Irna, President Ahmadinejad will also pay a two-day official visit to Oman starting on Monday.
