Dubai: The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) in Dubai and International Humanitarian City (IHC) have signed an agreement to develop a mechanism and guidelines for local fundraising and humanitarian campaigns in the emirate.

IACAD Executive Director Juma Obaid Al Falasi and IHC CEO Shaima Al Zarouni signed the Memorandum of Understanding to ensure charitable activities in Dubai are supervised in line with the rules and regulations of the emirate.

“IHC’s member organisations have been succeeding in their humanitarian work through Dubai’s administrative expertise and support, and we are thankful and pleased to establish our partnership with IACAD and further promote developmental and humanitarian work from Dubai to the world,” Shaima said.
