Abu Dhabi/Sharjah: During the Eid Al Fitr holiday, parking in Abu Dhabi will be free starting midnight on July 27 till 8am on August 2. However, July 26 and August 2 (after 8am) will be paid parking days.
Mawaqif customer care centres will be closed during the Eid holiday. The following centres will be closed from July 27 till August 1: Muroor Road, Al Falah Street, Central Market and Electra Customer Care. Other centres at ADCCI, ADCP, etisalat and Marina Mall will be closed from July 27 till August 2.
Meanwhile in Sharjah, the Roads and Transport Authority announced that public transportation services will operate 2,415 trips in the first three days of the Eid holiday. With an additional 218 trips a day, a total of 915 trips will be available daily within Sharjah, and 1,500 trips between emirates.
A total of 75 buses will facilitate transportation for residents inside the emirate and 300 buses for trips between emirates during the nine-day holiday.
Bus on trans-city routes will operate from 5am to 12am.
