Strong winds expected to hit western region
Strong winds are expected to hit the western region on Thursday afternoon.
Al Ain: Strong winds are expected to hit the western region on Thursday afternoon.
"Winds, with speed of 22 knots, can kick up dust and sand in the open area and also make the sea stormy with waves as high as three to five feet," said an official at the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS).
The wind would be less ferocious in other parts of the country like Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Al Ain.
It would be hazy, hot and partly cloudy in most parts of the country.
According to weathermen, wind speed would be normal by Friday morning.
The maximum temperature on Thursday in Al Ain was 38 degree Celsius, followed by Ras Al Khaimah 34 degree Celsius, Abu Dhabi 32 degree Celsius and Dubai 31 degree Celsius.
