Abu Dhabi: Keeping the environment clean and free from hazardous materials is a top priority for police, according to a senior official at the police directorate.
Brigadier Ahmad Nasser Al Reesi, Director General of Central Operations at Abu Dhabi Police, said that under the directives of Lt Gen Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Interior, the police are always prepared to deal with accidents which may cause the spread of hazardous material damaging to the environment.
The professionalism and technical expertise the police have obtained are strong enough to face any such situations, Al Reesi added.
Meanwhile, Brigadier Khalid Abdul Latif Al Dousiri, Director of Emergency and Public Safety at Abu Dhabi Police, said that the police's environmental protection equipment is the first of its kind in the region.
