Dubai: The Ministry of Environment and Water has launched a new website that explains the red tide phenomenon and its implications on the environment and the public.

Mustafa Abdul Qadir Al Shair, Director of the Fish Wealth Development Section at the ministry's Marine Environment Research Centre. said steps being undertaken to address this phenomenon based on a National Plan are also posted on the website.

The ministry has formed a technical team to monitor and follow up the measures and help the public become aware of the marine environmental phenomenon.
