Hundreds to join two-day desert cleanup drive in UAE
The cleanup campaign will take place in several areas across the country
Dubai: Hundreds of volunteers and organisations in the UAE will participate in a two-day desert cleaning campaign initiated by UAE Foreign Minister Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The cleanup campaign will take place in several areas across the country, including Al Warqa in Dubai, Al Faya, Al Thaid, the Al Badayer areas in Sharjah, Al Kharran Areas in Ras Al Kaimah, on Emirates Road in Umm Al Quwain, Dibba in Fujairah, Al Khatem, Zayed City in Abu Dhabi and in Al Ain.
