Sharjah: To marking Earth Day, the Sharjah environmental and waste management company Bee’ah is organising its second ‘My Bee’ah Walkathon’ on April 22 with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of recycling. The walk will start at 4pm from Al Qasba and end at Al Majaz.

Participants will experience the jogging track made from over 6,000 recycled tyres for the event.

“The ‘My Bee’ah Walkathon’ is a great occasion in which environmental advocates in both Sharjah and the UAE can collectively walk together and spread their message to protect our environment,” said Khalid Al Huraimel, Group CEO at Bee’ah.

Aiming to educate the community about the different ways of recycling, a number of outdoor activities will be organised at the Al Majaz Waterfront for visitors of all age groups.
