Women leaders of UAE and Gulf commemorate Science Day
Shaikha Hind hailed the wise leadership of Shaikh Khalifa and Shaikh Mohammad and their constant support of excellence, innovation and science.
Ajman: Shaikha Shamsa Bint Suhail, Wife of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and a host of high-profile princesses and women leaders witnessed the Science Day celebrations held at Al Safya Palace in Ajman by Umm Al Mumineen Society.
Also present at the celebration, which coincides with the Silver Jubilee of Rashid Bin Humaid Prize of Culture and Science, were Shaikha Hind Bint Maktoum Bin Juma Al Maktoum, Wife of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Princess Adela Bint Abdul Aziz Al Saud, Shaikha Wisal Al Khalifa, Shaikha Amthal Jaber Al Sabah, Shaikha Nada Nasser Al Thani and a host of Shaikhas, Princesses and women leaders from the UAE and other Gulf countries.
Chairperson of the Umm Al Mumineen Society Shaikha Fatima Bint Zayed Bin Saqr Al Nahyan, Wife of His Highness Shaikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, said: "Nations can only be built by science and excellence in an age where backward people have no place and where science has become the key to development and advance."

"The late founding father Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan unleashed the spirit of pushing towards prosperity and development, and Shaikh Khalifa is following the father's steps," she added.

Shaikha Fatima honoured Shaikha Hind, Princess Adela, Shaikha Sabeeka Bint Ebrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of the Bahraini King and President of the Bahraini Supreme Women Council, and Shaikha Amthal, who chairs Kuwait"s voluntary work centre.
