Winners of award for best doctorate theses honoured
His Highness Dr. Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah and Chancellor of the Sharjah University, on Wednesday honoured the winners of the Sharjah Award for Best Doctorate Thesis.

Sharjah: His Highness Dr. Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah and Chancellor of the Sharjah University, on Wednesday honoured the winners of the Sharjah Award for Best Doctorate Thesis.
He honoured Dr. Ahmad Ali Al Rashid for winning the Sharjah Award for the Best Doctorate Thesis in Administrative Sciences.
He also honoured Dr. Mohammad Ebrahim Al Twaijri, Assistant Secretary General of the Arab League for Economic Affairs and Director of the Arab Organisation for Administrative Sciences.
Dr. Youssuf Al Saberi, Member of the Award Board of Trustees, received the award on behalf of Al Twaijri.
Also honoured was Abdul Rahim Allam, Supervisor of the award.
The Arab Organisation for Administrative Sciences was honoured by Dr Shaikh Sultan for its outstanding efforts to institute the Sharjah Award.
Dr. Refa'at Al Fa'ouri, Director of the organisation, received the award.
Dr. Abdul Rahman Bin Ali Al Jarwan, Advisor at the Emiri Court and Chairman of the Award Board of Trustees, pointed to the shift of the award's headquarters from Cairo to Sharjah, thanks to Dr Shaikh Sultan's efforts and continuous support to the award.
The award's general secretariat will seek to develop the award's work and widen its fields, he said.
He pointed out that 19 researchers participated in the award's sixth edition.
The awards ceremony was attended by a number of Shaikhs, senior officials and academics and deans of colleges.
The Arab Organisation for Administrative Sciences was honoured by Dr Shaikh Sultan for its outstanding efforts to institute the Sharjah Award.
