University seminar on urban planning

Sharjah: The School of Architecture Design (SA&D) at the American University of Sharjah (AUS) will be holding a seminar on urban planning and the challenges of global climate change on Monday.

The six-presentation Medina Forum Seminar will focus on diverse issues such as sustainable infrastructure and global climate change.

The seminar begins at 4:30pm.

A team of urban planning educators and practitioners from Dortmund University, Germany, will be attending the seminar, entitled "Approaches and Practices for Sustainable Development: Learning from the German Experience."
