Peaceful protests by Palestian Culture Club in Dubai
Students, university staff members and the media took part in the demonstartion in the presence of the Consul General of the State of Palestine in Dubai Mr. Saleem Abu Sultan, to show their support for their fellow countrymen.
Dubai: In light of the recent horrific events in Gaza, Palestine, the Palestinian Culture Club at the American University in Dubai organized a peaceful protest.
Students, university staff members and the media took part in the demonstartion in the presence of the Consul General of the State of Palestine in Dubai Mr. Saleem Abu Sultan, to show their support for their fellow countrymen.
For the event, one child from the Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF) was invited to share her experience with the attendees; she is part of the group of children who recently received special medical attention compliments of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE, ruler of Dubai.
Amin El Hajj vice President of the Palestinian Culture Club at AUD explained that: “I appeal to all Palestinians, Hamas and Fatah partisans alike, we are all one people, let us all unite for an independent Palestine''.
