ALHOSN University teams up with the UAE Society of Engineers

Abu Dhabi: ALHOSN University has signed a renewable three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the UAE Society of Engineers. Under its terms, the university will tap the society's local and international expertise to deliver a high-quality engineering education and to strengthen the role of its faculty.

 

AUST's extracurricular programme announced

Ajman: The Ajman University of Science and Technology (AUST) has announced its extracurricular programme for the spring semester. According to the Deanship of Student Affairs, the programme will start with a short story, poetry and literature competition. Contests for the Theatre Club, Cinema Club, Photography Club, Calligraphy Club and Graphic Design Club will also be held.

 

UAE University signs MoU with Herbert Smith

Al Ain: UAE University's College of Law last week signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Herbert Smith LLP. It includes a vacation scheme programme under which students will be selected for a two-week programme in the firm's offices in the UAE, a two-week programme in one of its international offices and an intensive English language course.

 

MSU students raise funds for Haiti

Dubai: A lapel ribbon campaign by Michigan State University (MSU) Dubai has helped raise Dh10,000 for the Haitian earthquake victims. The funds will be given to the United Nations' World Food Programme as contribution to their Haiti Relief Fund.

 

AUS students invited to IMF Youth Dialogue

Sharjah: Thirty students from the School of Business and Management at the American University of Sharjah (AUS) have been invited by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to participate in the upcoming IMF Youth Dialogue. They will be submitting essays and taking part in two roundtable discussions.
