Abu Dhabi: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, stressed the importance of the national document in cultivating national values and establishing the culture of creativity and competition in students.

Shaikh Mohammad was speaking at a meeting of the UAE Cabinet's National Curriculum Committee (NCC) to follow up the topic of adding ‘Emirates Vision 2021' as a national document to the national curriculum at school level within the subjects of Arabic language, Islamic studies and national studies and teaching it to students at different educational stages.

Shaikh Mohammad believes teaching this national document a national duty of the competent authorities who are in charge of completing this project, as soon as possible, in order not to exclude sons and daughters of this country to identify the moral values and the concept of national affiliation and loyalty to the homeland and its leadership.

The meeting was attended by Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.

The meeting was also attended by Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Humaid Mohammad Obaid Al Qutami, Minister of Education, Abdul Rahman Mohammad Al Owais, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development along with committee members.
