Al Ain: General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Monday attended the 40th graduation ceremony of Cadet Pilot officers, the seventh course of Air faculty cadet officers and the second course of female cadet pilots at Khalifa Bin Zayed Air College in Al Ain.

Shaikh Mohammad affirmed that the UAE, under the leadership of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, continuously strives towards developing and improving its Armed Forces, and supplying them with the most advanced and suitable weapons with the aim of protecting the country.

Shaikh Mohammad pointed out that the UAE's wise leadership is keen on keeping the Armed Forces' abreast with the rapid qualitative and technological developments in the military field.

He said that in line with this approach, the UAE leadership provided the Armed Forces with the necessary capabilities to increase the efficiency of its officers and supplied them with the most up-to-date information in military science.

Shaikh Mohammad praised the role played by military colleges in the country to fulfill the Armed Forces' requirements for qualified and well trained human resources and cadres.

Shaikh Mohammad then thanked the Commander of the Khalifa Bin Zayed Air College and all supervisors and employees. He also congratulated the graduates and their families.

Also present were Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Shaikh Tahnoun Bin Mohammad Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Eastern Region, Shaikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in addition to senior Army and Police officers, high ranking officials, and heads of diplomatic missions from various friendly countries.
