Abu Dhabi: Shaikh Hamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court and Deputy Chairman of the Khalifa University Board of Trustees, yesterday chaired a meeting of the Khalifa University Board of Trustees at the university’s Abu Dhabi campus.

The board reviewed the Spring 2015 enrolment, graduate student recruitment data and reviewed new programmes currently going through the approval process. They also looked at conferences that the university is bidding to host in the next few years, and received an update on campus expansion.

During his visit to the campus, Shaikh Hamed viewed the projects that had been entered in the recent UAE Drones for Good Award. Khalifa University was the only university in the UAE to make the finals in the international category, with a Fog Dissipation Drone, and it made the top five in the national category with a site inspection drone.
