Abu Dhabi: Former French president Jacques Chirac visited the Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi (PSUAD) on Sunday during a private tour of the UAE.

Chirac expressed his appreciation to the UAE government for trusting the French education and opening Sorbonne in the UAE.

He accredited the success of what he called a cherished project, to the UAE leaders who made the vision a reality.

Greeted by students, Chirac gave a speech highlighting the importance of education and the necessity of taking the advantage of studying at Sorbonne to stand out.

The Cultural attach from the French Embassy in Abu Dhabi thanked Chirac for the visit.
