Easy-to-follow guide to crafting a paper plane

They had to build a uniquely designed paper plane using five sheets of A4 paper and keep it in flight for at least six seconds. Students were given the option of using glue and scissors on their designs, but had to ensure it weighed a minimum of 15 grams and a maximum of 40 grams.

The team who came in first place with a flight time of 7.87 seconds bagged a Dh1,200 prize. Runners up in second and third place recorded flight times of 7.72 seconds and 7.60 seconds respectively.
