Abu Dhabi: More than 50 Emirati university students batch 2012 were honoured on Tuesday in the capital for meeting scholarship compliance requirements at the 7th student’s forum for the academic year 2012-2013.

Nearly 56 Emirati students recognised for meeting scholarship requirements

The ceremony, which was held under the patronage of Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE and Minister of Presidential Affairs, recognised high-achieving students.
The forum was also attended by Ahmad Mohammad Al Hameeri, secretary general of the Ministry of Presidential Affairs.
Every year the Ministry of Presidential Affairs awards scholarships to the distinguished students from across the UAE to contribute to the development of the UAE’s national human resources by enabling exceptional students to study in selected fields and majors.
These students pursue academic studies in different majors including engineering, business administration, information technology, medicine, mass communication, law and others.
