Dubai: A new Ministry of Education web portal will offer a wide range of services and information to its stakeholders, the minster announced yesterday.
Although private schools are still not part of the new web portal services, the ministry intends to include all schools in the web portal, beginning with the 50 Madaris Al Ghad public schools.
"As part of its strategic objectives and the UAE's government initiative, the ministry of education seeks to enhance the directives of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, by increasing productivity, upgrading the IT infrastructure and improving the ministry's services to different members of the society," said Dr Hanif Hassan, Minister of Education.
Employers, teachers, and students will have their own accounts, while parents can register with the new portal in order to gain access to their children's progress as well as interact with teachers.
