Dubai: The Dubai partner of a Washington protocol institute has welcomed the reaccreditation of the institute.

The Protocol School of Washington (PSOW) was recently re-awarded a five-year grant of accreditation with the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training, a governing council recognised by the US Department of Education.

Ahmad Ali Alzaabi, Assistant Director-General, Protocol Department Dubai, said: “We are pleased for the re-accreditation achievement for [PSOW]. Throughout our partnership with the school, we ensure bringing the highest academic standards in international protocol training in UAE and the region.”

PSOW President Pamela Eyring said: “This important accreditation speaks to the rigid standards and quality training of our administrative and instructional staff and it helps us further our reputation as a global leader in business etiquette, image and international protocol training.”

Saeed Alsalkhadi, Managing Director of Gulf & Middle East Region, PSOW, added: “Re-accreditation is another important milestone in the school’s history, as [PSOW] is considered the main reference for International Protocol and Business Etiquette Training.”

PSOW was founded in 1988 and its expert trainers have been associated with the White House, Disney Institute and The Hague, among others. It has trained over 4,000 people from 70 countries, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Switzerland.
