Sharjah: His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, on Saturday received Dr Ebrahim Abouleish, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Heliopolis University for Sustainable Development and founder of Sekem initiative for biodynamic agriculture.

Cooperation talks held between Sharjah Ruler and Sekem founder
Board of Trustees of Heliopolis University received
Dr Abuleish briefed Shaikh Sultan about the objectives of the university and foundation. They also discussed possible means of cooperation between Sharjah and Sekem Companies to expand the organic agriculture in the emirate, being a competitive solution to the environmental, social and food challenges in the 21st century.
Shaikh Sultan praised the efforts of Dr Abouleish in the sustainable development and academics in Egypt.
Dr Abouleish appreciated Shaikh Sultan’s efforts in supporting the education and culture, citing the progress being experienced by University of Sharjah and American University of Sharjah.
