Dubai: India’s Central Board of Secondary Education examinations started on Wednesday at different centres across the UAE and students were on time for the first day, thanks to improved weather conditions.

Over 3440 students from different schools in the emirates appear for the exams held in 17 centres across the UAE.

Principals and parents said it was a big relief to see clear and sunny skies in the morning, as they were worried rain would jeopardise their commute to the examination centre.

It was reported that most of the students reached their schools well before 8.30am while exams were scheduled to start at 9am. The first subject is Physics.
