Dubai: The Careers UAE exhibition 2013 will bring Emirati job-seekers and recruiters under one roof from April 30 to May 2 for employment, training and academic opportunities.

This year the event which is held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has witnessed a strong turn-out of companies with an increase of 20 per cent from last year.

The companies participating represent a broad cross-section of the economy, ranging from ICT, finance, trade and commerce, oil and gas, hospitality, education, transportation, government, semi-government and more.

For 13 years the Careers UAE Exhibition has been able to empower UAE nationals by making them a top priority in the labour market. The event has even acquired a greater emphasis this year after 2013 was declared the Year of Emiratisation.

Some of the companies participating in Careers UAE Exhibition 2013, which was organised by Dubai World Trade Centre, include Al Futtaim, Bayt.com, Commercial Bank of Dubai, First Select, Go Glocal, Higher Colleges of Technology, National Bank of Abu Dhabi, the Presidential Guard, Tanmia, UAE University and Zayed University.

Major exhibitors at the event include Adnoc, Al Rostamani group, Dewa, DP World, du, Dubal, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), EMAL, Emirates Group, etisalat, and RTA, to name a few.

Prospective participants can register and access more detailed information about the available opportunities via the Careers UAE Exhibition 2013 website: www.careersuae.ae.
