Abu Dhabi The Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) has commended the swift actions taken by the Model School in the wake of a school bus accident that left six pupils with minor injuries.
The accident, which occurred on Monday morning, involved the school's Bus No. 6 and an Al Ghazal Transport mini bus at the entrance of the Mussafah road under the over-bridge as the bus was transporting 45 pupils to the school in Mussafah.
Pupils with more serious injuries were taken to the hospital while others were provided with first aid assistance and were sent taken home. The remaining pupils attended afternoon classes to make up for their missing attendance during the morning.
