Dubai: Some of the most prominent Arab education specialists will share their views on ways to drive academic progress in the Gulf during a conference here in Dubai.

The Global Education Forum is organised by Fairs and Exhibition (F&E,) in partnership with the Ministry of Education from 23 to 25 of this month at the Airport Expo.

Dr Abdullah Al Amiri, Advisor to the Minister of Education and General Chair of the forum, said: "The Global Education Forum will cover essential academic topics such as, the integration of technology in all areas of education, building schools for the future, special education needs including gifted and talented children, and the latest innovations in education including ‘virtual environments'."

The keynote speakers will be Dr Khalifa Ali Al Suwaidi, Assistant Professor, Department of Curriculum and Instruction, UAE University, Abdul Latif Hussain Haider Al Hakimi, Professor of Education at San'a University, Dr Suad Abdul Aziz Al Furaih, Associate Professor, Curriculum and Instruction Department, College of Education, Kuwait University, and Dr Ali Mohammad Abdullah Habib Al Kandari, Director of Educational Technology Centre College of Education, Kuwait University.

In addition to regional experts, this year's forum also attracts renowned international specialists from across the globe providing insight, analysis and best practice to visiting delegates.
