Dubai: Hamdan Bin Mohammad Smart University (HBMSU) has announced that Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and President of the university, will award 20 scholarships to outstanding senior high school pupils.
The scholarships will enable them to continue their journey towards scientific and academic excellence by joining one of the bachelor’s programmes available at the university. The programmes comply with high standards of creativity, innovation and international best practices that keep pace with Smart transformation.
“This grant is aimed at stimulating scientific and academic excellence, along with the development of young talents that are capable of leading the growth in the future,” said Lieutenant General Dahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chairman of Dubai Police and General Security, and Chairman of the university’ Board of Governors.
Application for the programme is currently open and the awardees/grantees will be primarily selected based on their high school grades and their compliance with admission requirements of their selected HBMSU programme.
