Dubai: Two policemen have denied having group sex with three women, including two teenagers, who have been charged with working as prostitutes, heard a court on Tuesday.

The policemen, 26-year-old A.H. and 25-year-old Y.M., pleaded innocent and denied sleeping with the women for money before the Dubai Court of First Instance.

Charges

The 20-year-old girl, U.H., denied working in the sex industry. Her 16-year-old sister, I.H., and her friend, H.M., have been referred to the Juveniles' Court after the Public Prosecution charged them with prostitution.

The 26-year-old has also been charged with consuming liquor. A police lieutenant said in his statement: "We received a tip that A.H. was hosting a number of girls in a hotel apartment in Al Mamzar area. We raided the place and found the girls and some cans of beer. When asked about what they were doing in the flat, the girls confessed that A.H. phoned and asked them to come. The girls claimed that each of them was promised Dh1,500."

A police major testified: "We were informed that the 26-year-old has suspicious connections in running a brothel. After we raided the flat, A.H. confessed that the beer belonged to him. The girls confessed that A.H. invited them for sexual services for Dh1,500 each."
