Two die in separate road crashes in UAE
A Pakistani has been arrested over a fatal hit and run accident, traffic police officials said.
Abu Dhabi/Al Ain: A Pakistani has been arrested over a fatal hit and run accident, traffic police officials said.
The accident happened on April 14 in Musaffah, in which the unlicensed driver, D.M.M, 20, ran over an Indian mechanic, 35, near Al Jaber. The victim was killed instantly.
"The man was driving his father's car, who was in Pakistan," said a police official.
In another incident, an Egyptian, YMS, 46, died when his car rammed into a stationary trailer in Al Fo'ah district, some 25 km from Al Ain.
