Dubai: A New Zealander faces two months in jail for having consensual sex with two women, who were each jailed for one month for having sex with him.

The Dubai Misdemeanours Court Wednesday jailed a 25-year-old Brazilian woman, P.F., for having sex with the 33-year-old New Zealander, T.C.

Presiding Judge Ali Attiyah Sa'ad also handed P.F. an additional month in jail for verbally threatening to kill the 31-year-old British woman, D.S., after she caught her having sex with her ex-boyfriend T.C.

D.S. was jailed for allowing T.C. to have sex with her.

"P.F. has also been fined Dh1,000 for consuming liquor. The defendants, P.F., D.S. and T.C. will be deported after serving their punishment," said Presiding Judge Sa'ad according to yesterday's verdict.

Charged

Prosecutors charged the New Zealander with having consensual sex with the Briton and Brazilian. P.F. was accused of allowing T.C. to have sex with her, consuming liquor and threatening to kill D.S.

Court records said P.F. was having an affair with T.C. and used to go to his house in Dubai Marina. One day she went to his flat and opened the door with her key. When she walked into the bedroom she was outraged because she saw D.S. and T.C. naked in bed together.

She grabbed a knife and verbally threatened the Briton.

Advocate Salman Lutfi, who is defending D.S. and T.C., told Gulf News yesterday: "We have already appealed the primary verdict. They are in custody but they are expected to be released on bail today."

Prior to the verdict, advocate Lutfi handed the court a written defence in which he argued that the forensic doctor's statement was contradictory and inconsistent.

The lawyer asked the court to acquit his clients.

Presiding Judge Sa'ad asked the suspects to wait in court until he handed out the verdict later in the day.

Detained

The suspects were asked by the police to remain in the courtroom before they were taken to the court's detention area.

T.C. denied having consensual sex with D.S. and his ex-girlfriend, P.F.

The Brazilian woman admitted consuming liquor but denied having consensual sex and threatening P.F.

D.S. pleaded not guilty.
