Dubai: Three suspects appeared before the Dubai Court of First Instance to hear the charges against them which included adultery, prostitution, harming the physical safety of others, consuming liquor and exploiting a prostitute.

The first suspect, a 33-year-old Jordanian T.S. was accused with agreeably violating the morality of the second suspect, a 27-year-old Filipina, and harming her physical safety by causing her body injuries that prevented her from movement for 20 days, as well as consuming liquor.

The second suspect, I.D. was accused of practising prostitution and allowing the first suspect to violate her decency through having consensual sexual intercourse with him, while the third suspect, L.A., was charged with exploiting the second suspect by offering her to the first suspect against an amount of money.

Public Prosecution presented the confessions of I.D. that she had practised prostitution since her arrival in the UAE, and those of the first suspect that he was solicited by L.A. who was mediating between him and I.D. and offering him the second suspect's services for Dh1,000.

T.S. denied beating the second suspect and causing her physical injuries.

The two women submitted a request for release, but Presiding Judge Fahmi Mounir extended the detention of the second and third suspect and adjourned the trial until September 19.
