Three on trial for assault and robbery

Dubai: Three suspects who beat up a deliveryman after tricking him to deliver a fast food meal and robbed him of Dh130 stood trial on Monday.
The Public Prosecution charged the two Pakistani students, 18-year-old S.H. and 19-year-old M.A., and 24-year-old Bahraini, H.A., along with a fourth suspect (being prosecuted at the Juveniles' Court) with tricking the Indian deliveryman into delivering a meal, beating him and robbing his wallet with Dh130.
The Pakistani and Bahraini suspects appeared in the Dubai Court of First Instance where they pleaded not guilty.
