Strict vetting for Israeli dual citizenship holders
Speaking on the assassination of Hamas official Mahmoud Al Mabhouh, Dahi said it was likely that all suspects in the case had returned to Israel in a bid to evade arrest.

Abu Dhabi: Dubai will exercise caution in admitting Israeli dual citizenship holders into the country, the Chief of Dubai Police said on Monday.
Earlier, Israeli dual citizens could easily enter the UAE. However, officials will now vet them before granting them entry, Lieutenant-General Dahi Khalfan Tamim, Chief of Dubai Police, has said.
Speaking on the assassination of Hamas official Mahmoud Al Mabhouh, Dahi said it was likely that all suspects in the case had returned to Israel in a bid to evade arrest.
He condemned Israel for bringing its troubles into the UAE and for insulting western countries through the fraudulent use of their passports in the assassination Al Mabhouh in Dubai on January 20.
"Israel must not carry out its assassinations on our land. When it has a conflict with another country, Israel should deal with it on their land or the other country's but not here on our land," Dahi said yesterday.
He said Mossad should stay within Israel as the UAE had never carried out attacks in their country or provoked them.
"[With this crime] they have offended and disrespected not just us but also Britain, Australia, Germany and New Zealand... [through the fraudulent use of their passports]. And that is just unacceptable," Dahi said.
Dahi was speaking to the press on the sidelines of the International Security National Resilience Exhibition and Conference.
"Earlier, Israeli dual citizens could easily enter the country even if officials recognised them as Israelis from their accents and traits," he said.
"But [from] now on they will be carefully scrutinised, regardless of what passport they hold."
The Dubai Police Chief added that this did not mean anyone would be mistreated. He said immigration officers are to undergo intensive training to study Israeli people and identify their traits, accents, body language and manners.
