Signboard of a shopping mall in Sharjah catches fire
A signboard of a shopping mall in Sharjah caught fire on Tuesday morning. The blaze was limited to the external concrete wall and no damage to the mall was reported.

Sharjah: A signboard of a shopping mall in Sharjah caught fire on Tuesday morning.
The blaze was limited to the external concrete wall and no damage to the mall was reported.
"The signboard was under repair on Tuesday night. When the lights were switched on Tuesday there was a short circuit due to the rain," said Jean Pierre Nammour, managing director at Sahara Centre.
The short circuit that triggered the fire occurred at 9.10am and was immediately put out by Sharjah Civil Defence and the Al Ghusais Fire Department.
