Police arrest three Columbians who used innovative technology to steal money from residents' vehicles
Sharjah: Police arrested three Columbians who used an innovative technology to steal money from residents' vehicles.
The suspects used a device that could unlock vehicles, and used a pointed tool to deflate tyres without leaving traces.
"This is the first time that a Columbian gang has been caught stealing from bank customers," said Lieutenant Colonel Yousuf Mousa Al Naqbi, Director of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) at Sharjah Police.
"Residents must be very careful of Latino gangs as they have developed methods and skills that are violent.'
Police said they had received numerous complaints from bank customers, who filed reports that their money was stolen from their cars.
