Teen arrested after hit-and-run incident that left a man dead in Ras Al Khaimah

Ras Al Khaimah: Police have arrested a 17-year-old teenage driver who fled the scene after running over and killing an Asian man in Ras Al Khaimah.
Colonel Saleh Salem Al Shimali, Acting Director General of Central Operations at Ras Al Khaimah Police, said the victim was trying to cross the road in the Al Nakheel area in Ras Al Khaimah when he was run over.
Police tracked down the Emirati driver, identified as M.A.A., and found out that at the time of the incident, he was driving without a licence.
The incident was the second of its kind in less than a week, said Al Shimali.
