Raising awareness about abused children
The Emirates Foundation on Tuesday announced grants of up to Dh250,000 to fund projects that highlight the issues of neglect, physical, sexual, and psychological abuse of children in the UAE.
Abu Dhabi: The Emirates Foundation on Tuesday announced grants of up to Dh250,000 to fund projects that highlight the issues of neglect, physical, sexual, and psychological abuse of children in the UAE.
The grants will be given to the winners of the Family Challenges Grant Competition, organised to stress the need for prevention and awareness of child abuse.
Applicants are invited to send a covering letter describing their credentials and a two-page proposal summary including a budget outline to: social@emiratesfoundation.ae.

The closing date for initial applications is August 30.
